Estuvimos alojados coincidiendo con una boda que se celebraba en el hotel y no pudimos dormir, porque parte de la fiesta se celebraba junto a la entrada principal.
Nuestra queja a la mañana siguiente no fue atendida y nuestra reclamación ante la Junta de Extremadura tampoco. Si prevén alojarse, pregúntenles si tienen boda ese día.

We stayed 2 nights at the Convento de la Luz as a base to see Caceres on one side(20km) and then a day in Portugal (Monsanto--1.25 hours away) in the other direction. The hotel is a 17th century convent that has been luxuriously converted to Parador level. It is on the out-skirts of the village of Brozas so you need a car to get there. The setting is in the country with expansive views, and the building is wonderfully restored. Both the room and the public areas were excellent. We actually liked this place better than the Parador at Oropesa which we stayed at next.
